Brief Auto-Biography

A professional visual artist, who has been fond of color and artmaking since pre-school age. Raised in the Cramer Hill section of Camden and brought up as the only child, with a Catholic School education, during a time when the city began to take a dive for the worst, crime was on the rise, and so was political corruption. As a child, not understanding the mix up in my outward enviornment, art making began to be my favorite pass time. " I remember how excited I would be to open a new box of crayons,  the new somewhat sweet wax smell, would send creative energies throughout my body, I would then be occupied for hours on the living room floor, while mom was busy with her motherly duties".

During my time in highschool, I was selected to attend the Art Instruction School of MN, an accreditted correspondent art school, which then lead to my undergraduate art and design study at Rowan University, in Glassboro,NJ. In 2005, graduated with a Bachelor's of Art in Art, and Certification in Entrepreneurship in the Arts. In 2010 started a design company Andrea's Artz LLC, to help individuals with thier creative needs in both design and fine art. "I 've come to realize that Art is what brings the world together", and because of this, we at Andrea's Artz strive to create various community-service art programming workshops and continue to do community outreach, with our annual craft drive to hospitalized children at Cooper Hospital.
